Great Songs to Play Air Guitar To
I have always loved guitars and I have tried to learn to play them too. I did learn… somehow… I learned to play a song or two using an acoustic guitar… but I never went past that. In fact, it has been years since I have held my pink guitar (got one a number of years ago). That’s really sad when I think of it considering that I love guitar riffs and I often imagine myself playing guitar so well someday… For now however, my next big dream involving guitars would be to play an air guitar to some rock music guitar riffing (after several listening sessions of head banging while playing at Foxybingo.com plus a month or so of practice)
If you love listening to rock music – from Ozzy Osborne to the Foo Fighters or if you too, are just in love with guitars like I am, then maybe you’ll also be interested in some of the greatest songs to play air guitar to.

Foo Fighters – Monkey Wrench
The guitar part in this great rock song is fast, catchy and perfect for playing air guitar along to. It was the first single released from the band’s 1996 album, The Colour and the Shape. The song is featured in video games including Band Hero, Rock Band and DJ Hero.
Guns N’ Roses – Sweet Child O’ Mine
This classic eighties hit is still very popular today and is one of my favorites. It’s known for its repetitive guitar riff which introduces the song and continues to play in the background. It reached number one in the US and topped the Billboard Hot 100 on 1988.
Bon Jovi – Dry County
Unlike Living on a Prayer and Always, Dry County isn’t one of the band’s most well known songs; it is a hidden gem found on the Keep the Faith album. The 9 minute 52 second song gradually builds up to an explosion of guitar shredding before dying back down again.
Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven
I’m not really sure if you could play the entire eight minutes of this song with an air guitar because it has several sections that vary in tune and tempo – and I think in genre too. The first part is kinda-folk, then there’s the slow electric middle section, a long guitar solo, and then the air guitar portion – the hard rock comes in.
